Cabi.Chat Search — Rubrics and discovery
Rubrics tag cards with shared taxonomies. What a rubric is and which taxonomies exist: Cabi.Chat Graph — Rubrics. This page is about how rubrics make a card discoverable.
A card tagged with a rubric is found under it and under every rubric above it, so one precise tag is enough: a card tagged "Hair Care" also shows up under its top-level industry. Do not list a rubric together with its own parent; pick the most precise one.
Primary rubrics
In each taxonomy up to two of a card's rubrics are primary. Primary rubrics are the card's public face: public search filters, the chips on its tile, the landing rows. All rubrics count when you search your own cards or inside a workspace.
Why: tags are free to add. Without a cap a card could claim dozens of public listings and show up everywhere. Public reach stays at two per taxonomy; the other tags organise your own work and your team's.
- If you do not pick primaries, the first two rubrics you add in each taxonomy become primary.
- An empty primary list is valid: the card stays tagged for you, but is not publicly discoverable by tags.
Discovery
- Search filters: rubrics are picked in groups. A card matches a group when it carries any rubric of that group, and it must match every group; a separate list excludes rubrics.
- Rubric pages: open a rubric to see the cards tagged with it, the ones you may read.
- Rubrics as results: choose Card Types: Rubrics to search the taxonomies themselves.
- The landing: its rows come from primary industry rubrics. link
