FE pipeline: Sign in to Cabi.Chat with Telegram

Goal: sign in to Cabi.Chat with your Telegram account, on the website or inside Telegram, accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. API: API pipeline: Sign in to Cabi.Chat with Telegram
On the website
- Tap Sign In at the top, or Rooms, Cabinet or Profile in the bottom bar. Authenticate via Telegram opens.
- Tick I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Without it the buttons do nothing and the box shakes.
- Pick one:
- Log in with Telegram: confirm in Telegram's window. The window closes and you are signed in.
- Generate Challenge Phrase: you get a short phrase (copy button next to it). Send it to @CabiChatBot from your own Telegram account (Open Messenger opens the bot). Under Waiting for verification... a countdown runs; come back and the page signs in by itself. Cancel authentication stops; when time is up: Challenge expired. Generate a new one.
- Signed in: your name shows at the top instead of Sign In; Rooms, Cabinet and Profile open.
Inside Telegram (Mini App)
- Open https://t.me/CabiChatBot/MiniApp, or a Mini App link to a Cabi.Chat page: the Mini App then opens on that page.
- First time, or after the Terms changed: By continuing, you accept the Terms and the Policy → I accept. Otherwise you are signed in right away.
- The Telegram session is outdated - close and reopen the app. → close the Mini App and open it again.
Good to know
- Your Telegram account is your Cabi.Chat account, on the website and in the Mini App. Another Telegram account opens another, empty account.
- Send only the words shown on your own screen. Words someone else gives you would sign them in to your account.
