FE pipeline: Find projects by place and on the map

Web app as of 2026-11-02

Goal: find projects by city or country and browse them on a map. API layer: API pipeline: Find projects by place and on the map

Steps

  1. From the landing: swipe the landing aside. The map under the page, a globe, shows the projects of the landing rows as pins: tap a pin for the project's tile, tap a cluster (a number) for a list of its projects. While the map is shown, the Map | Main switch sits at the top right; Main brings the landing back.
  2. From search: Search → type, or set filters → Map at the top right. Your results with a place are pins («N on the map»); with no place: «No results with a city pin to place on the map yet.» On a wide screen Map first opens beside the results; tap again for the full map.
  3. Narrow by place: in the filters (sliders button), Countries → Add country prefers that country; Location → Your city… + Search radius sorts nearest first. Neither hides results. FE pipeline: Search the graph
  4. A card's place: on an open card, the pin line under the title shows its place; tap it to open the place with what it contains.
  5. A place on the map: an open place card (a city, a region, a country) ends its photo strip with a See on map tile; tap it to open the map on that place. On the full-screen map:
    • Tap a pin: the project's tile pops up; tap it to open the project.
    • Tap a cluster (a number): a list of its projects slides in from the side, with a box to filter it by words; pointing at a project in the list highlights its pin; Close list folds it away.
    • The button at the top left closes the map and takes you back.
