FE pipeline: Connect a Telegram account as an oracle (phone → code → 2FA), start and stop it, sign it in again when Telegram asks

Web app as of 2026-10-15. API layer: API pipeline: Connect a Telegram account as an oracle (phone → code → 2FA), start and stop it, sign it in again when Telegram asks

Goal: connect a Telegram account of yours as an oracle, start and stop it, and sign it in again when Telegram asks.

Before you start: a Pro project (FE pipeline: Make a project Pro), an agenda (FE pipeline: Write an agenda for your oracles) for the account to answer under, and the account's API ID and API Hash from my.telegram.org.

Connect

  1. Cabinet → My Oracles → New.
  2. Kind: tap Telegram account. Pick the Project (hint: «Telegram account oracles run only under a Pro project.») and the Agenda («Required before the oracle can start.»).
  3. In the sign-in box (steps Credentials → Code → 2FA) fill Phone Number (with country code), API ID, API Hash, then tap Send Verification Code.
  4. Telegram sends a code to the account. Enter it in Verification Code, tap Confirm Code. Wrong numbers? Start over with different credentials.
  5. If the account has two-step verification you see «This account has two-factor authentication enabled…»: enter the 2FA Cloud Password, tap Verify 2FA.
  6. You see «Session established for +…». Give it a Title and tap Create.

You land on the new oracle card; its tile in My Oracles shows Stopped.

Run

Sign in again

When the tile says Re-auth required (or «Sign-in not finished»):

  1. Tile ⋮ → Re-auth. The window «Sign the account in again» shows the phone.
  2. Tap Send code. If the phone is unknown, enter it first.
  3. Enter the login code, tap Submit; if asked, enter the cloud password, Submit.
  4. «Signed in. The account is restarting with the new session.» → Close.

Re-auth also works on a healthy account: you are asked to confirm, and it restarts with a new session. Messages you may see: «Wrong code…» (no new code is sent), «Telegram asked to wait before a new code: … s». If a message asks you to wait, try again later.
