Cabi.Chat Landing

Cabi.Chat Landing is the graph's front page. It is where a visitor arrives with no question yet: a search prompt, rows of public projects by industry, and a map. Nothing on it is placed by hand. It is built from the graph and reordered by attention.

How it works

Search prompt. Type what you need or tap a suggestion, and the prompt carries the query into search.

Industry rows. One row for each top-level industry of the IAB taxonomy that has projects: Careers, Education, Business and Finance and the rest. A project appears in the row of every industry its primary rubrics fall under, however deep the rubric sits. Up to twelve projects per row, eight rows per page.

Attention decides the order. Rows that people open and read move up. Inside a row, projects that people genuinely engage with rise. New projects with a complete profile also get a fair chance to be seen before they have any attention; lasting interest is what keeps them there. Changes reach the landing within minutes.

Map. Below the rows, the landing projects are on the map. Cabi.Chat Map

Who is on it

Public projects tagged under the industries taxonomy, as far as each visitor may see them. link Signed-in users also see their own likes and saves on the tiles; apart from that, the rows are the same for every signed-in user.
