Cabi.Chat Projects — Contacts
Contacts are the channels you choose to be reached through. They are optional: every project already has Cabi.Chat's own rooms for talking to leads, and oracles bring conversations to your inbox. Add contacts when you want people to reach you directly as well.
Kinds. Email, phone, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and website in the web app; Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Discord, X, YouTube and a custom labelled contact through the API.
Primary. One contact is primary, marked with a star. The first contact you add becomes primary; starring another one moves it.
Who sees. Each contact has its own audience:
- Signed in (default) — only people signed in to Cabi.Chat. Anonymous visitors and search engines don't see it.
- Everyone — anyone who opens the project, search engines included.
Access.
- On request (default) — the value stays hidden until a visitor asks to reveal it. You see the signed-in people who revealed it.
- Shown — the value is shown straight away to its audience.
Why on request. A value shown to Everyone is part of the public page: search engines read it, and so does anyone who collects contacts for spam. On request keeps the value off the page; it reaches only the people who ask for it.
You always see your own values.
Verified website. Prove that your website's domain is yours and its contact is marked as verified; the same step lets you count your site's visits. Cabi.Chat Analytics — Track your own website
