Cabi.Chat API — Apps
On the Cabi.Chat API an agenda is also an app: an identity of its own, separate from you. That is what lets an oracle work for your project without holding your keys. What an agenda holds: Cabi.Chat Ignite — Agendas
What an app sees
- What its agenda holds Cabi.Chat Graph — Oracles™, what has been shared with it and what is public.
- Someone else's cards only the way people reach them, through an access link:
POST /v0/my/agendas/{ident}/claimwith{token}, the link's token, claims it for the agenda. An agenda can claim only a link that allows agendas; links allow only people by default. Cabi.Chat Graph — Sharing with access links
Calling the API as an app. A widget's access token opens the API as the widget's agenda: send Authorization: Bearer <oracle token>, and every call runs as that agenda, never as you. Fetch the agenda's cards, search, answer from the project's hotspot. Without an agenda the token opens no API session. Getting the token: Cabi.Chat Oracles — Website widget
What an app cannot do. Mint personal access tokens on your account. Cabi.Chat API — Personal access tokens
